How Unusual Business Ideas are Making the World a Better Place
Just imagine a world without a unusual business ideas, all there would be would be big-box stores, McDonald’s and if you believe demolition man Taco Bell. Don’t get me wrong I like McDonald’s , you often see me scoffing down a big mac and fries. I like some big-box stores in fact I got my computer from Best Buy, and I absolutely love Taco Bell in fact is they yesterday with my wife and kid. Enough about my eating habits.
Life would be pretty boring will if we didn’t have the crazy business ideas. Some of my favorites I have seen over the last few months are, if you want some more ideas check out the business hq.
1.) Poop pick up
Everybody wants a cute fluffy puppies but people are too lazy to pick up poop, and puppies do a lot of that! So you get in there with plastic bags, a smile and pick up other people dog poop from there yards. I can see it being quite lucrative. Especially if you tied up contracts with large apartment complexes and even government institutions. Very little capital is needed to invest and get going, when all we really need is bags? Maybe some kind of fancy poop scooper? A uniform and the funny looking car if you want to be really professional.
2.)Zombie workouts
Yes zombie workouts! I saw this advertised at a local YMCA, and it looks like it’s doing really well. No doubt they are getting business quite easily due to the popularity of the Walking Dead TV series. So there was a six-week course, where you learned how to avoid zombies. It sounds silly but they looked like they were getting a real workout, and having a lot of fun at the dame time, jumping logs and running from too to room. The course ended in a zombie run, where volunteers pretended to be zombies and catch the participants in a race around town.
3.) Kilt wearing window cleaners
Yes men wearing kilts cleaning windows. The idea is not really unusual, the way they wen around marketing it is, they literally wear kilts and clean windows. I didn’t speak to the guys who were doing it but I bet that there were Scottish. The basically played on the fact that there is a certain mystery about what men wear under their.
4.) Topless carwash
Yes you might not be able to do this idea unless you have certain assets Ahem !! But I suppose you could hire local dances of the exotic variety to help you wash cars, that’s exactly what the young man who started the topless carwash in our town did. I think it only lasted about a week before he was shut down by the police, I'm sure he cashed in while the going was good. There was always aline of cars waiting.
5.) Sidewalk advertising
I saw this one morning while out walking the dog. Two guys were actually cleaning the sidewalk with a power washer. They had placed a stencil with a local restaurants logo showing through, when they lifted it the power washer had left the logo on the pavement. Absolutely brilliant concept, cleaning the time while at the same time making some money.
